Netscape Communicator (version 4.x) has an autoconfiguration option, which means that you can set your browser to use the local settings simply by entering a URL. All versions of Communicator are configured using the same procedure:

 

  1. Select Edit/Preferences/Advanced/Proxies
  2. Select Automatic Proxy Configuration
  3. Enter proxy.mva.net:8080as the URL
  4. The Preferences screen should look like this.
