Netscape Navigator versions 2 and 3 have an autoconfiguration option, which means that you can set your browser to use the local settings simply by entering a URL. All versions of Navigator are configured using the same procedure:

 

  1. Select Options/Network Preferences/Proxies
  2. Select Automatic Proxy Configuration
  3. Enter proxy.mva.net:8080 as the URL
  4. The Preferences screen should look like this. If you click Reload the settings in the cache.pac file will be applied immediately.
