Step-By-Step Illustrated Instructions

for MACINTOSH users

Step One:

Click on the Apple Menu

Step Two:

Click "Control Panels"

Step Three:

Click "Remote Access"

Step Four:

Click inside the Phone Number box (so you can type)

Step Five:

Enter your area code. (Please note - 978 is used as an example, if this is not your area code, please make sure to use the correct one!)

Step Six:

Close the Remote Access window by clicking the square in the upper-left.
It will now ask you if you wish to save the changes.
Click "Save"

All done! Your Mac Modem will now correctly dial the 10 digits required!
